1. Reading comprehension: What does the source suggest about _?
a. 3 mark q: 3 min, make at least three points
b. 2 mark q: 2 min, make at least two points

- Two paragraphs - one for values and one for limitations
- Talk about the values and/or limitations for the content, origin and purpose
- Try to stick to a paragraph on values and a paragraph on limitations - important to not seem like you are

- Compare - Both sources state / suggest / agree that
- Contrast - Source A states that … while Source B …
4. 9 mark q: 30-35 min, essay
- PLAN
- Answer the question, use words from the question (key words)
- Two perspectives - should not be opposing, but does have to be different
- Use the sources and own knowledge to support the analysis
- Can group sources to show commonality, or contrast views shown by different sources
- Reference sources used specifically and clearly, use quotes from them
- Must add in own historical knowledge, but should be relevant to the topic
- Usually to present alternate view - eg. if question is to what extent this factor was relevant, can
- Analyse and synthesise, do NOT just describe 1 / 2
