  • There was a girl named Arachne who loved weaving. She boasted that she is better in that field than a god named Athena, the god then asked her to have a contest to know who is better.The god said that if she ever loses, she won’t weave anymore while if Arachne loses, she won’t be able to use a loom, spindle, or distaf again. Arachne lost and cried, she became scared with the fact that she won’t be able to weave anymore because she won’t be able to hold those tools that she used to use whenever she was weaving. Athena pitied her, that's why she just turned Arachne into a spider so that she can weave again but this time, without spindle, loom, or distaf .II. Evaluation of writing technique The author wrote the story in a narrative, descriptive, persuasive, and creative way/manner.III. Organization/Flow The story has a series of events where one action leads to another or one event leads to another, then so on.IV.
