•Lacewing defines Infallibilism as the position that:

‘a belief must be certain to be knowledge. If we can doubt a belief, then it is not certain, and so it is not knowledge.’ •Knowledge is certain.•In Descartes's First Meditation, he says, ‘I should withhold (assent) from (propositions) that are *not completely certain and indubitable.’ •Whatever he could bring himself to doubt, he would doubt, unless he saw reason for not doubting it.
