- Selectiveness (should only give the intended response) ex. medication meant to lower bp,

- A patient is non-compliant with their medications.What are some things we should consider?
- The cost of the med- The client might not be able to afford the prescribed med. Is there a
generic med we can give?
- Ease of administration- Does the client have difficulties opening the bottle? Is the route
uncomfortable? Are the side effects uncomfortable?
- Freedom interactions-
Does it interact with their food? Does the med interact with other meds they may be taking?
- Before giving a med, what are some things we should keep in mind?
