Strengths in Communicating
Part One: Working Style
1.
The results of my 5 Dynamics assessment were as follows:
Execute / Effortless Excite / Deliberate+ Explore / Deliberate+ Examine / Deliberate 2.
The report shows that I am a pragmatic realist who knows that learning is necessary to accomplish life goals. I am an ultimate high achieving learner and constantly compare my accomplishments with others. I surprisingly agreed with the report, I realized my strengths and intensity were quite true to how I present myself in daily life. My 5 Dynamics report and Self-Assessment matched showing my strength as Execute. Being an Executor, I strive to finish a task before it is due and thrive on carrying it out to gain success in life. I am a leader that is willing to support those who 1 / 2
are around me, even if it is challenging. The results also showed high marks for Excite as one of my strengths. I find this to be true since I show excitable energy when contributing my ideas and like to solve problems in a different manner. I am also spontaneous, for example I will take different roads home from work to see where they lead or have the children tell me to take a left or right turn at the end of the road. The highest energy level of intensity resulted in Effortless. During the workday, my level of energy completes more tasks without the feeling of being overwhelmed. I focus on the pace and complete the tasks with extraordinarily little effort. One of my challenges is that I get stressed out when I am rushed and collect more information than I need causing me to be overwhelmed; this causes a bioreaction.Another challenge is I like to work independently but see group projects as a wonderful opportunity to work with other people and restrain my tendency to take charge. This will allow me to see how other people learn and view this as a challenge to develop a skill set that will be supportive in the future.I learn best by being very disciplined with my study and leisure time. During my study time I take notes using bullet points with diagrams, and concept maps. I am a tactile learner, by seeing and doing I grasp on to what is being taught. I also take multiple breaks throughout my studying; this allows me to focus better when I return. From my 5 Dynamics report I relate more to execute in my daily life, I like to take on a more authoritative role. I am a workaholic and pursues what I want. I tend to work alone to carry out goals but ask for help from others after I have tried to do it myself. I do not have planned details, but I know the measurable time limits to complete a task.
